Success and Blame

Here are two amusing stories about Kate, well amusing if you’re us or family :)

Blame

One morning Kate and I were sitting on the couch together. I looked over and she had put her foot in her mouth and was literally trying to bite her toe nails. I looked at her and said “What are you doing?” She looked straight at me and said “Dada, Dada”

So, of course when Jason got home I accused him of biting his toe nails in front of Kate. He explained to me that it was physically impossible for him to do that. Kate was not even 2 and was already trying to place the blame on someone else.

Success (so far)

We moved Kate from her crib into a full sized bed. I was hoping she would do well since she’s such a good sleeper, but there’s no guarantee. She did great from day one. The other night Jason put her to bed and tried to lay down with her. She shook her head and said “No,No.. Night Night” then pointed to the door and said “Bye, Bye.” She literally kicked Jason out of her bed.

One more because I can’t resist…

One Saturday morning when Kate woke up I brought her into our bed. Jason was still asleep and she crawled up and put her hands on his chest. She yanked them away and yelled “Hot, Hot.” There is my proof that Jason radiates heat!
