4th of July

While my Dad and I were running the Peachtree Road Race, Jas went to the St. Ives parade with my Mom and the kids. They girls had fun collecting candy and looking at all the decorations. Jason even won a gift card to Stoney River. We will be going there on a date night soon!

Kate looks thrilled to be having her picture taken :)

After my Dad and I got home and showered; my parents, Jason's parents, and our family went to lunch at the club. Then we came home and everyone was too exhausted to do anything that night, which ended up being fine since it poured and I'm not even sure any fireworks went off. It was a fun weekend!

4th of July Pre-Weekend

Jason's Dad had a doctor's appointment so his parents came up for a few days. The girls love when MeeMaw and PawPaw visit.

I'm sure Liam got spoiled being held so much and I'm sure he loved it :) It was nice because a lot of times Jason will take the girls to the pool on Sat and I'll either stay home with Liam or just go for a minute. I was able to leave Liam at home this time and we all went together.

Abby was too busy to stop for a picture :)

We had our first real Family Home Evening (more than lets go get ice cream or to the park...) After, MeeMaw and the girls made banana bread. I'm pretty sure that's their favorite treat when his parents visit.

Tennessee

My Mom, the kids and I took a trip to TN to visit family. We managed to fit all three carseats in the back of my Mom's car. The kids had a lot of fun playing with all of Jeanie's toys and I had a lot of fun reading my first book in a couple of months! We went to the museum one afternoon with the girls and left Liam with Jeanie and Nancye. The museum had a bubble room, grocery store, toys, a maze, and my favorite a model of Clarksville with a train and buttons you could push to make things move and light up.

The kids did AMAZING on the drive. It's 5 hours each way and both times we only stopped once for about 20-30 minutes so I could feed Liam and the girls could eat lunch and stretch. Liam only cried a little when we were almost to Jeanie's house and maybe 5 minutes on the drive home. Kate helped entertain Liam and Abby liked to spend time singing very loudly while Kate would try to sing :) It took some work to get the girls quiet at times. Driving home, I knew they were exhausted but they kept trying to play and being really loud (aka yelling). Finally my Mom and I just ignored them and this is what happened...

Kate and Abby had so much fun playing with their cousins and staying up late that they were just exhausted by the end. Liam was the only one awake, happily hanging out.

Fun Little Boy

Liam LOVES bath time. He likes the water pretty warm. Where when you first put him in he gives you a very concerned look but as soon as he's immersed a big smile breaks out :)

What baby doesn't like being outside? Unfortunately, it's been so hot lately and we haven't spent as much  time outside.

Liam's first time in a swing. He is sucking his thumb here. He's almost got the hang of it and it's pretty cute :)

Liam - 3 Months

I had no idea how much I would love this baby boy. It's true. Liam is the perfect fit for our family. He makes our family complete. Our family FEELS complete now. I will gladly raise a Momma's boy if it means that I get to continue cuddling with him like I have the past 3 months! I can't get over how cuddly he is at all times. He loves to lay his head on your shoulder and curl his knees up and laughs when you kiss or tickle him.  His personality is also starting to come out now. He lets you know how he's feeling, whether that means a huge smile or a screech because my hands are too cold. My favorite time is when I'm holding him on my knees and he's babbling and smiling at me or when I'm holding him and he lays his head on me or when I'm bathing him or kissing his cheeks...

We sure do love Baby Boy Liam ;)

~ We went to lunch on the 4th of July and Liam set in his carseat (propped up on an upside highchair - try it, it works) for almost the entire time looking around and smiling. This is a new thing for us, considering the girls would never have been content for that long without being walked or bounced. He is so laid back and carefree.

~ For being such a happy baby he does not handle sickness well. He had a cold and for 2-3 nights he woke up every 1.5-2 hours all. night. long. He even ended up sleeping in Jason's arms one morning and on me the next morning. Those were some tiring days!

~ 3.5 months - He started rolling from his back to stomach. This has caused him to wake up crying since he gets stuck and he does not like being on his stomach. Plus, I have to obsessively check his monitor since I don't want him sleeping on his stomach.

Father's Day Part 1

Jason is a wonderful Dad. Our girls and now son(!) have a head start in life purely because of their Dad. There is no doubt to how much our kids love and are in awe of their Daddy.

The girl's pulled up their chairs all by themselves to watch Jason while he worked. That's how much they like to be with/near him.

Jason is such a hands on Dad. Even after working all day he always plays with the kids. Since Liam has been born, Jason bathes and puts the girls to bed every night while I feed and put Liam to bed. That's when he's not working late (or doing boyscouts); because on top of always making time for his family, he's had a really big project that's demanded a lot of hard work.

Just a typical moment for Jason :)

Father's Day Part 2

We celebrated Father's Day a few days late by going to my parent's pool. This was actually our first time going this summer.

I love this picture of my Dad and Liam :)

Pool Time!

Jason and I are pretty sure Abby would go live with my Mom and never look back ;)

Jason is such a good sport

Pure Joy

I can't even count how many times Jason went down this slide with the girls. A new lifeguard came on later and said kids had to go down by themselves. We thought that was the end of that, but Kate decided she was going to go ALL BY HERSELF! She went up all the stairs by herself and came down multiple times. She's so grown up!

She even wanted to take her floatie off.

Yes, this is the slide Kate went down! See why I was amazed?!

Abby is just too cute! Love this girl :)

Love this sweet girl too!

Liam did make it into the pool a little but he preferred the comforts of his shaded stroller.
Love this boy!

We ate dinner at the pool then went back to my parents for caramel cake and ice cream. It was a nice evening just hanging out on the deck all together.
