Mother's Day - Gibbs Garden

For Mother's Day we went with my parents to Gibbs Garden. When we were about 10 minutes away it started raining. Even though we didn't have any umbrellas (thanks to me just cleaning out my car) we decided to brave the rain. About 5 minutes after we got there it cleared up and turned into a really nice day. I think the rain scared a lot of people off so it was too crowded considering it was Mother's Day weekend.

It is such a beautiful place. It is privately owned and was created by Jim Gibbs. I believe it's around 300 acres and he designed the entire garden, bridges, ponds... His private home is also on the grounds and you can walk up to and around the home. My parents talked to Jim Gibbs while we were there so I imagine he's at that home a decent amount.

We are the luckiest parents!

Goats

While we were in Nashville, GA the kids went to a neighbor's who has a bunch of baby goats or kids if we're being official here. They loved feeding the goats. I think Abby had the most fun though. She even rode on one of the goats too!

ZOO

My friend has passes to the Atlanta zoo and she so kindly let us tag along with her and her son. Liam was a little uncomfortable with all the people and was getting over being sick but the girls loved going! Abby's favorite was the tiger and the elephant. I think Kate loved all the animals and she made sure we saw every single frog, bird, monkey, snake, panda.... It was a perfect day. School wasn't out yet and it wasn't too hot which is the only way to do the zoo in my opinion.

Kate's Graduation

Kate's preschool has a graduation for kids who will be going to kindergarten the next year. I really can't believe this day has come. I'm so proud of Kate and all she has accomplished. She is so smart! It's amazing how much she has grown and matured this year. She has become such a wonderful little girl. Jason, Abby, my parents, and I went to watch her "graduate." Liam stayed home with a babysitter since it was his bedtime. The teacher asked Kate what she wanted to be when she grows up and she said doctor!

Kate did so well singing with her class and walking to receive her "diploma." Abby did really well sitting with us too. After, Jason and I took the girls for a late night ice cream run. It was a perfect night for my grown up girl.
