Dogwood Festival
We’ve had two great family weekends in a row. Last Saturday deserves a blog post though. My sister was in town so we got a babysitter and my parents, Jason, and I met her and her boyfriend for lunch in Brookhaven. We then decided we were going to take the kids to the Dogwood festival. We went straight home, got the kids ready and left. We had to take Marta for this to be a real adventure :) Kate and Abby were so excited to see the dog show and we even had a funnel cake for dinner!
Playing on the field after the dog show. Abby is so independent and would just wander off by herself. We tried to see how far she’d go but always had to go get her!
Who’s the creeper trying to act like they’re apart of our family!
Loves her Daddy!
Kate was so excited to ride on a subway train just like Curious George!

Catch Up
Kate and I decorated Jason’s mirror for Valentine’s Day. I love her straight line of hearts that she decorated then put up all by herself!
These window markers are the greatest thing ever. After complaining to Jason about how hard it is to clean between the window grids he asked why we weren’t coloring on the storm door. You know, that huge window, free of any grids that’s perfect for drawing on? Oh yeah
Our children do not stay still while sleeping. They turn every direction and never keep a blanket on. Abby was out and didn’t move during her entire nap! I had to document this once in a lifetime moment!
Too cool
I’m in love
Prep Work
Jason tilled the garden and his “helpers” were glad to lend a hand! I’m concerned about when we actually plant the garden because the girls love to play in the dirt. They dig and make piles and play forever. Kate tells me she is tilling then rakes it smooth :)
More fun in the yard…
Nothing wrong with eating from a plate on the ground…
