We really drug Halloween out this year. It started with our ward Trunk-or-Treat. There was food, candy, games, and tons of cute kids. I didn’t know how Kate would do with trunk-or-treating but by the third car she was holding her bucket out saying “trick-or-trick.” It was probably the cutest thing I ever saw. Jenny came with us so while Jason manned our trunk we took Kate around to all the cars.
Katherine is still obsessed with dogs so I had to dress her as one!
Jason and I went to a Halloween party which meant we used an actual babysitter for the first time! When Kate was little we just toted her around with us and put her to sleep in a spare room/BR/closet, or we left her with my parents. Kate’s older now and I knew my parents would be busy so we asked a girl from church that we really trust and everything seemed to go fine.
Jason was a Cobra Kai and I was his Pregnant High School Girlfriend
Actual Halloween was kind of a nasty day but we still had to take Kate trick-or-treating. We went to my parents then went around to a couple of homes in their neighborhood. Kate really has the hang of the whole trick or treating process. After awhile though she was over it and became kind of scared to go up to the doors, so we went home and handed out candy to the kids in our neighborhood. We were left with a ton of candy and I have been eating HANDFULS every day!
“Trick-or-Treat”
Kate with chocolate all over her mouth – she definitely had a sugar high!
About a week ago my sister came home to visit and Kate went straight to her and even tries to say “JenJen”
So cute! I love all your costumes. We handed out candy in Mississippi this year...always a new place to hand out candy. :)
ReplyDeleteKate was adorable!! I love her little dalmatian costume. Y'all should bring her over to play with Maggie!
